Reuben Ponce De Leon

Reuben Ponce De Leon is a Jiu-Jitsu brown belt and instructor at Los Angeles Jiu-Jitsu Academy. He began his Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2012 under Royce Gracie, one of the most well-known and respected Gracie Jiu-Jitsu instructors. Reuben's passion for teaching began at an early stage in his Jiu-Jitsu career. He started teaching at the blue belt level in 2014, sharing his knowledge and experience with students of all ages and skill levels.

In 2016, Reuben started training at the Kron Gracie Academy in Los Angeles, where he continued to develop and build his technical knowledge. He was fortunate to have trained under both Rickson and Kron Gracie, which helped build both his Jiu-Jitsu and quality of life. Reuben also developed a relationship with Ricardo Rosa, the head instructor at Kron Gracie’s academy.

Furthering his Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2020, Reuben began teaching under Ricardo Rosa at the Los Angeles Jiu-Jitsu Academy. Built on the foundations learned from Rickson and Kron he continues to use Jiu-Jitsu as a means to help people in their daily lives and is committed to sharing his passion and knowledge with anyone who is willing to learn. He always looks forward to making a positive impact on the local community by sharing his knowledge and helping others improve their lives with Jiu Jitsu.
